ABSTRACT
Neurocognitive disorders remain one of the tricky perioperative complications, despite progress in screening tools and care bundles. BMC Anesthesiology has initiated a new collection on managing perioperative neurocognitive disorders in the geriatric patient, urging researchers to conduct large-scale, high-quality studies that address the existing knowledge and implementation gap.
