In Reply We thank Thiruvenkatarajan and colleagues for their thoughtful comments on the OCULUS randomized clinical trial and highlighting the role of clear liquid diets and overall safety concerns regarding the use of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor agonists (GLP-1/GIP RAs) in the periprocedural setting.
