ABSTRACT
Immune-mediated necrotising myopathy (IMNM) is a rare autoimmune disease recently recognised as part of the spectrum of idiopathic inflammatory myopathies. Although cardiac involvement is a prominent extramuscular manifestation in anti-signal recognition particle (SRP) IMNM, there remains a lack of sufficient cardiac magnetic resonance imaging data. Here, we present a case of anti-SRP IMNM with cardiac involvement as the initial symptom, utilising imaging assessments at various stages of the disease to evaluate and monitor disease progression and treatment response. These findings may provide valuable insights for the clinical identification and management of anti-SRP IMNM with cardiac involvement.
